    Hey Nicole, I loved your information about keeping the flowers dry in the fridge. Could you maybe do a video in the future of a list of methods of how to a)prolong flower life and b)hurry bloom? I know you give our pieces of this info in your videos but I think because you've had to adapt to not having a large fridge, you probably have amazing tricks to control the life span of a cut flower.

    OMG, what a great video and I'm so sad that I've not found your channel until now! I suffer from bulb MANIA in the hugest font possible...and this video really hit home. I don't sell my flowers and I don't have thousands, as you do, but I have a WHOLE LOT and every year I somehow manage to find room for more and more and more. I think I might even go so far as to say I have a little bit of a *ahem* "problem" with scented narcissus---King Winston lol, Delnashaugh, Tahiti, Actaea, Vanilla Peach (silly me thought these might smell like peaches! lol - no, but they smell fantastic)...and so many others. Didn't know about the "color crack" - great tip! Now I'm caught up in my annual amaryllis/paperwhite insanity, while also watching the UPS guy deliver more and more and MORE tulips and alliums and frittilarias and...since the ground is frozen I'm scrounging for pots. No idea if you'll even see this but if you do, THANKS AGAIN!

    What do you do with the bulbs on the tulips that you pulled up? Value your information.

    Question- my anenomes started flowering, but the stem is literally a few inches tall. Can't cut for a bouquet. Will the following stems grow longer? Is there a fertilizer I can feed it? Ranunculus plants are also short. Tips?

    • @FlowerHillFarm
      @FlowerHillFarm  4 года назад +1

      The first buds are shorter, they should lengthen and be usable in two weeks.

    Can someone tell me why are the bulbs being pulled? I know She mentioned tulips are annual for flower growers but why?! Thanks!

    • @FlowerHillFarm
      @FlowerHillFarm  3 года назад

      Tulips need to be moved to prevent disease, they are not reliable perennials. They rarely come back once they are cut. I’ve done several videos on the topic 💐

    • @FlowerHillFarm

      Longer storage post-harvest! It also cleans up my fields for the next crop. Tulips are annuals for farming
